Family Night

Brayden was in town last weekend and we went to my sister's house for dinner. It was so fun watching the kids play together. Chandi is getting so big and loves to follow Brayden around.

Fred is 30!!!!

On September 2nd Fred Curtis Merrill turned the big 3-0!

We celebrated his birthday night with the family at Fred and Candy's house. The next day Fred and I left for sunny Arizona. We stayed in Phoenix for the extended labor day weekend at the Biltmore hotel. Fred's friend (and best man in our wedding) Cameron joined us with his new fiance Lindsey. We have such a good time with the two of them and this trip was no exception! We had some fantastic dinners and fun nights out in old town Scottsdale. Happy Birthday Fred!

Brayden at the pool

Fred and I took Brayden to the pool a few weeks ago. He had fun playing with the rocket my parents got him for his birthday. We swam for awhile and then Brayden had to take a break to eat some Cheetos! Didi came later to have lunch with us.

Papa's 85th Birthday

Papa turned 85! The family got together at the Intercontinental Hotel where we all got on a trolley bus and took a tour to several sites from young Fred Merrill's life including the two houses he grew up in...one he didn't even remember! We then went back to the Hotel for a wonderful dinner. It was a great night!

Mimi's Visit and The Wiggles

Mimi came in town to visit for a few days after having Brayden down in Dallas. Brayden loves Mimi very much and was very sad to see her go. Hopefully we can all come down to Dallas soon!

After Mimi left we took Brayden to see The Wiggles at the Sprint Center. I think he was kind of tired but definetly liked seeing Dorthy The Dinosaur. It was a busy weekend and Brayden was very tired and fell asleep in his car seat...he looks so cute!

Pear Feast 2009

Even though Block party won the tournament...again....Pear Feast was a blast this year! Brayden came with us and was a trooper! We were in the sun all day but Brayden had his own little cabanna and had fun playing with all Fred's friends. I think they got a better work out throwing him around than playing volleyball. The picture below of everyone on the court is during the 20 minutes or so we were actually beating Block Party. They ended up beating us ofcourse but we did go on to win 4 games in bracket play...not bad for team Side Out!
